Getting a Library Card

A Henry County Library Card is your key to a world of fun and information. With your card you can check out books, graphic novels, audiobooks, playaways, cake pans, jig saw puzzles and even fishing equipment! You can also use your card to access our computers (see computer use policy under policies tab) in the library or use our databases and check out ebooks and eaudiobooks from the comfort of your home.

Adults (ages 16 and up): To get a library card you must fill out a card application and present a valid ID and proof of address. A library card is free to anyone who lives in Henry County. If you do not live in Henry County you are required to pay an annual out of district fee of $15.00.

Minors (ages 7-15): Minors may only get a library card with permission of a guardian. The guardian must sign the minor’s card application and present valid photo ID and proof of address. The guardian is responsible for all fines on the card.
