GETTING STARTED WITH GENEALOGY
Have you ever wondered where you came from? Do you want to learn more about your family history but don’t know where to begin? The Henry County Library has the perfect program for you. Tuesday, March 7 at 3:00 the Henry County Library will host ‘Getting Started with Genealogy’ in the Friends of the Library Community Room. Presenter Marilynn Henry will instruct attendees on what documents are acceptable for genealogical use, how to use the internet to find genealogical information, and how to organize genealogical information. Marilynn has been doing genealogy for 6 years and is the NSDAR South Central Division Volunteer Genealogist Vice-Chair and the MSSDAR Lineage Research Chair for the Missouri Daughters of the American Revolution.
