Magic Desktop is a platform that turns a regular computer into a safe and educational
playground for children ages 3 – 12. This program allows young users to Learn, Watch,
Play, and Create in a controlled digital environment.

The software teaches children how to navigate in a Windows-type setting with access
strictly limited to the content provided by the program. This content includes interactive
themes, apps, videos, games, and Ge Academy interactive games and quizzes with
educational emphasis. Math, reading, and science are just a few of the academic
subjects that can be explored within the software.

The Magic Desktop Kids Computers were made possible with grant funding received
from the Truman Lake Community Foundation. There are 4 Magic Desktop computers
at the Henry County Library in Clinton and 2 at the Lenora Blackmore Branch in
Windsor.
