Every summer, the Henry County Library offers a well-established Summer Reading Program that encourages kids and teens to read over the summer.  Our program offers educational and fun enrichment activities throughout the summer for kids aged 0-17 to prevent the summer slide.  “Summer slide” refers to the tendency for students to lose some of the academic skills and knowledge they acquired during the previous school year.  Our program uses prize incentives and entertaining activities to engage young readers.

Adults can register kids and teens through the Beanstack app or at the circulation desk in Clinton and Windsor.
