Getting a Library Card
A Henry County Library Card is your key to a world of fun and information. With your card, you can check out Books, Graphic Novels, Audiobooks, Playaways, Cake Pans, Jigsaw Puzzles, and even Fishing Equipment! You can also use your card to access our public computers in the library or use our databases and check out e-books and e-audiobooks from the comfort of your home.
Adult Card: To get a library card you must fill out a card application and present a valid picture ID and proof of address. A library card is free to anyone who lives in Henry County. If you do not live in Henry County you are required to pay an annual out-of-district fee of $15.00.
Juvenile Card: Minors may only get a library card with the permission of a parent/guardian. The guardian must sign the minor’s card application and present a valid picture ID and proof of address. The parent/guardian is responsible for all fines on the card.

With this card, you may only access our online databases and ebooks and may not check out any materials within our library. Please ask your school’s library media specialist how to apply for a student e-card at your school.
Institutional Card: If you are a teacher or nursing home director, you can easily get an institutional library card free with the permission of your organization/institution director. Please note that you are responsible for all materials checked out on this account.
