Youth Services

Every month Henry County Library hosts a range of programs and clubs for children, from infancy to elementary school age.  Throughout the year, we host special events for family fun for all ages!

Henry County children of any age can receive a library card.  All that is required is a parent’s/legal guardian’s identification showing proof of address and their signature on the application form.  The parent/legal guardian needs to be present for library card sign up.

Parents or caregivers are responsible for their children’s behavior while in the Library.  Parents or caregivers may not leave a child under the age of 12 unattended at any time.

DAYCARE/HEADSTART PROVIDERS

We encourage early childhood education groups to immerse their children in the many varied rewards of reading. Groups are always welcome to request Storytime for their children. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for all groups to participate at least once during the course of a year. Priority will be given to those groups that have not attended Storytime during the current year. Please notify the library as soon as possible if your group needs to cancel a visit.
